This is a strategic position where you work closely with the client services and internal management teams to execute on Search Engine Marketing (SEM) programs. This position is responsible for supporting the success of the client's SEM efforts. Your primary task is to carry out Search Engine Optimization tactics for your clients. This includes but is not limited to: Link Building, Local Listing Optimization, Meta Information research and development, and Directory Submission. In addition to supporting client SEO programs, the Digital Marketing Specialist should be familiar with Paid Search optimization and best practices as well as Google Analytics. Experience managing PPC budgets is preferred. The Digital Marketing Specialist is expected to contribute to the department's monthly reporting duties, including but not limited to SEO positioning reports and paid search performance reports. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, has excellent time management skills, and has 2-3 years SEM experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Strategic Link Building, Local Listing Optimization, Directory Submissions • Perform SEO and PPC keyword research and provide keyword recommendations for new and existing clients where needed • Prepare monthly and ad hoc SEO and PPC reports for a variety of clients. • Monitor positioning and meta tag updates to ensure that changes are being made when necessary (routing meta tags through studio where applicable, following up on implementation) • Monitor PPC keyword performance and CTR to ensure campaigns are performing optimally • Assist with content development as needed: ad copy, articles, blog posts, website copy • PPC campaign optimization and budget monitoring
