As an intern you will gain immediate exposure to online marketing campaigns for a wide range of clients and will be presented with an excellent opportunity to learn real world marketing techniques including link building, website metrics, directory submissions, blog and forum commenting and promoting news stories through a range of online PR techniques. You will be provided with full training in SEO techniques, social media marketing techniques, SEO tools and analytics packages. This internship role is initially for 3 months with a view to being made permanent. To qualify... you will need to possess a degree, probably in English, journalism or marketing and a basic understanding of search marketing and social media. It is likely the successful candidate will have experience of blogs (or have their own), Twitter and Facebook and a passion for all things web combined with the desire to learn about SEO metrics and marketing definitions including PageRank, unique visitors, impression, and click-through rates.
