SEM/SEO E-Commerce Marketing Specialist

Description:
The SEM/SEO E-commerce Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day execution of search engine marketing campaigns. The Specialist will conduct research to identify social media best practices and trends that will be used to hone and improve strategy, campaigns and programs. The ideal candidate will have proven, previous experience developing, managing and growing brand presence.
Responsibilities:
Continuously review and manage all aspects of existing campaigns – measuring marginal revenue against marginal cost for both aspects of SEM.
Perform keyword research in order to further expand both our PPC and SEO initiatives.
Develop, implement and manage new SEO strategies
Utilize applications to analyze web site usability, design, and A/B testing techniques to maximize profit
Assist with development and implementation of customized and targeted SEO and landing page strategies
Monitor, track and report against indexing, traffic, and ranking goals
Maintain digital communication including company blog and social media management (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
Link building and content management utilizing SEO best practices
Support advertising campaigns across multiple Comparison Shopping engines
Prepare reporting and profitability of our PPC efforts on a bi-weekly basis
Perform keyword research in order to further expand both our PPC and SEO initiatives.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Marketing or related field, or equivalent job experience
1-2 years of demonstrated experience handling search engine marketing
Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail required.
Must be highly creative and able to work with tight deadlines and also be able to multitask and exercise high level of flexibility.
Relevant experience across key social media sites including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, blogs, YouTube.
Knowledge of HTML coding, JavaScript, and CSS
Experience with Google Analytics and other customer analytics integrations
