Full-time Manager, Organic Search Practice (SEO)

It is an exciting time at Mediative Performance!  We are growing quickly and looking for an experienced Manager, Organic Search Practice (SEO) to join our talented, self-motivated and dynamic Service Delivery team!  We are accepting candidates in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. 


 


The Manager, Organic Search Practice (SEO) is responsible for strategy development and driving results on a portfolio of client accounts and managing a team of organic search strategists across all areas of organic search.  In collaboration with assigned Project Managers, they are responsible for the overall execution of client projects and deliverables and for ensuring that all client accounts are proactively managed and optimized.  


 


The responsibilities of the Manager, Organic Search Practice include: 



  • Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of results against stated objectives for a portfolio of accounts

  • Ensuring campaigns are optimized and delivering best results for clients.

  • Developing organic search strategies that deliver results for clients

  • Reviewing organic performance to ensure successful delivery of client objectives

  • Proactive communication with clients to optimize and enhance campaigns

  • Responsible for the overall success of the campaigns in their portfolios

  • Plans, delivers and reports on campaign using the Mediative Methodology

  • Manages and motivates a team of Search Strategists

  • Provides guidance and support to their team to ensure best results for clients

  • Provides feedback to their direct reports to establish a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Contributes to effectively allocate team resources to appropriate projects

  • Responsible for hiring and establishing culture within their group that is consistent with the Mediative culture


Desired Skills & Experience



  • 3 - 7 yrs online marketing experience  (including experience in SEO)

  • Experience managing teams in a service delivery capacity

  • Client-facing agency experience in a search marketing practice

  • Experience managing and executing search marketing programs

  • Superb client service skills with an ability to translate client objectives into strategic plans

  • Creative, innovative thinker

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze results to determine key findings

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong coaching and mentoring skills

  • Strong project management and time management skills

  • Proficient in English and French both written and spoken required for Montreal candidates and a definite asset for Toronto candidate
