Job Description: We are looking for a driven, results-oriented internet marketer to build on world class online advertising and search capabilities at a large national bank. This key team member will aid in development of search strategy and execute tactics focused on product acquisition and support integrated campaigns. Additionally, they partner with Online Project Marketing teams to optimally utilize SEO as an integral components of the integrated online marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accountable for developing, executing and optimizing search plans to drive profitable traffic to the site and attacting new customers for the brand. * Develop and execute search advertising plans for bank products. * Consult with and provide thought leadership to online product marketing teams resulting in optimal ROI. * Support management of agency relationships, day-to-day workflow and maintain/institute SEO manage processes. * Foster Search Engine Optimization Marketing campaign from conception to implementation; including internal approval processes, account structure, keyword list development, copy creation and testing * Ensure SEO best practices are fully leveraged across search marketing efforts * Facilitate integration with SEM team and display/graphical media elements * Maintain up-to-date on key search trends, tools and resources; educate and evanglize to other Bank Associates * Program management for SEO efforts for all deposits related programs (i.e. ensuring that website content for deposits is findable/viewable by major search engines) * Strategic consulting on our SEO strategy, roadmap, technology engagement model and content development, syndication and external linking strategies
Job Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years managing SEO at a digital advertising agency or in a corporate marketing/digital marketing capacity. Must have Organic search experience * Financial industry project mangement experience * Knowledge of web analytics, search tools and competitive tools to identify opportunities and measure KPIs aligned to SEO channel effectiveness * Experience in developing and managing online search agency relationships * In-depth understanding of various online advertising tactics and marketplace nuances with emphasis on Direct Response tactics * Possesses an understanding of Search Engine Optimization Marketing management and detailed optimization best practices * Experience utilizing key online metrics and syndicated research in building smart strategic recommendations * Excellent project management skills ensuring that search plans and optimizations move forward effectively on deadline and on strategy * Disciplined approach to project and financial management
* Location is open to anywhere in the United States, though Charlotte, Boston, San Francisco or Los Angeles is preferrable
* Must have college degree and be eligible to work in the United States
