Job Description:

The role will involve planning and delivering search marketing related tools and technology. Search covers a multitude of areas online and as such the role requires the candidate to be proficient in the creation of microsites, building tools, managing databases and assisting in the automation of search processes. PHD has many blue chip clients and as such projects will be both varied and interesting in nature. This is a unique opportunity to get in at the beginning and mould the position and future direction to how you would like. Areas of Responsibility:

- Develop and maintain bespoke search marketing tools & technology - Develop and maintain marketing microsites - Develop and maintain reporting systems and databases - Plan projects, manage workload and report progress to Head of Search - Assist in developing ideas for new search technology - Support client work and liaise with clients and their technical teams

Skills / Experience:

- Our lead developer candidate is likely to be a driven and ambitious developer looking to make a name for themselves within a top 10 advertising agency. - They will likely have 2-3 years experience in developing tools, applications and websites using combinations of HTML, PHP, MySQL, Java, Javascript, ASP, AJAX and Flash. - The role is a new area for PHD and is the first role within our Search Technology team which is a part of the Search Department at PHD. - The candidate will need to be a self-starter, someone who can deliver on their own, help to justify the full setup of the department and with the potential to manage a team of developers in the future. - The role will suit someone who enjoys diversity in programming in a fast moving cutting edge part of the industry.
