Assembla is a leader in software development tools and technologies, agile methodologies and cloud computing. We are seeking someone to sell Assembla with online direct marketing – Content, microsites, analytics, conversion optimization, SEO, SEM, affiliates, and partners. Work with software development communities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial person who will experiment with different offers, find the most effective packaging, and help us define a more attractive product, as well as get more users and make more money. You must know how to learn from data and analytics. You should have hands-on experience with at least one of the disciplines required to produce campaigns – copywriting, Web design, video, community content. You should be ready to manage collaborators and subcontractors for the other disciplines. Most of Assembla’s customers are software developers, so it will be very helpful to have software development experience, and/or experience working with software developer communities. This is a revenue-focused position. We are not looking for a marketing expert who will do a specific set of activities.
