HEAD OF ONLINE MARKETING / ONLINE MARKETING EXEC - CAMBRIDGE (REF: RH-00089U2, Closing Date: 02/08/2009)As a Sunday Times Top 100 company to work for in 2007 & 2008 our client is at the forefront of the online games industry developing and publishing role playing adventure games interacted by millions worldwide!!  With over 380 employees in the UK and still rapidly expanding they are now seeking to recruit a Head of Online Marketing to oversee all online marketing activities.  This is a great opportunity to join this fast-growing company working closely with other senior staff in establishing a winning online marketing strategy.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the online marketing of key products and services and be involved in strategic development and business planning. You will also develop key marketing deals in existing and new territories in order to continue expanding the membership base.   In more detail your role will include the following:

• Be a key player in the company leading and driving initiatives within the online marketing department.


• Work alongside the Business Development team and create an overall Search Engine Marketing (SEM) plan in which strategic event-based campaigns can be executed.


• Act on all levels to increase traffic and ‘sales’ from Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), including SEO competitor analysis, web traffic analyses and related reporting.


• Plan and execute viral marketing campaigns and establish a vision for the development of the web 2.0 sites.


• Build and maintain effective relationships with groups, stakeholders, external partners and suppliers including regular reporting of day to day activities.


• Indentifying opportunities in existing markets and in new technologies (e.g. mobile phone, iPhone, etc.)
