SOCIAL MEDIA/SEO/SEM ASSOCIATE

PLEASE NOTE THE REQUIREMENTS SECTION. THIS IS A PART-TIME CONTRACT POSITION (FOR NOW) AND YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN A 30 MINUTE DRIVE OF CONCORD.

Area Pro Realty (http://www.AreaProRealty.com) is the fastest growing national residential real estate franchise. We are looking to dramatically build on our SEO, SEM, search and social marketing efforts. Here’s the gig. You sleep, eat and breathe social networking and know what it’s all about when it comes to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, MySpace and other popular social networking sites. You also have a keen knowledge of SEO and paid search and can increase our position on a national level for our website. The fun doesn’t stop there – you’ll get to manage and write our blog (twice a week). But it gets better – you will also be our evangelist and police officer of all things social media with our growing base of franchisees to help enhance our presence. You can do this through our group of video classes we call Area Pro Realty University.

Area Pro Realty is a fun place to work, with flexible hours. If you want to be a big fish in a small but growing pond, then this is for you. This is a home-based contract position with the requirement to travel to our corporate office approximately twice a month, or as necessary, in Concord, CA.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing, updating and maintaining a social networking strategy • SEO and paid search optimization (SEM)• Maintaining our blog• Educating via Area Pro Realty University video classes (recorded classes, not live).  Requirements:

• Have proven experience performing ALL of the above responsibilities• Have at least 2 years solid work experience and a growing portfolio to prove it• Have a home-based office setup and are able to work independently• Be internet/computer-savvy • Have excellent written, verbal, graphic and communication skills• Possess an exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals

• Be extremely knowledgeable about SEO and SEM tactics and increasing website traffic.

• Live within a 30 minute drive of Concord, CA

Compensation:

Hourly based on experience. Must be able to work 20+ hours in a month or less than 10.  Hours will increase to a more full time position (and get more stable) as we continue to expand.
