Shiply is the UK’s online shipping & transporting marketplace where users can list items they want to ship/transport, and receive competitive bids from service providers wishing to secure shipments.

Job Description:

We have open a full-time search engine optimisation position. You must have 3+ years of proven experience in this field.

You must be able to demonstrate a hands-on approach and be ready to work in a fast-paced exciting business environment.

The job will be conducted from our London offices working closely with marketing and the managing director on key SEO strategy and implementation.

Key duties will include:

Keyword Research – search market volumes, brand and product awareness

Competitor research – identifying common trends and competitor weakness/strengths Onsite optimisation – internal linking, meta data, page title propositions, optimised page content

Link building – natural ways to build links (brand and generic) – unique content distribution

Landing page optimisation

Generation of new relevant content

Report and analysing – Google Analytics – increase traffic – Enhance site conversion – maximise ROI
