Job Title: Senior Web Analyst Available: Immediately Full-time - no telecommuting Location: Vancouver, BC, CanadaH Street Media, responsible for marketing one of the world's leading sports entertainment providers, is looking for a Senior Web Analytics Specialist. We're at a very exciting phase of our business and we're thrilled to bring someone new on-board to share and contribute to our success. Working with the Internet Marketing team, you'll help craft and execute writing and editing initiatives for our new client in the sports entertainment industry. We are looking for a bright, analytical and detailed oriented person with 2+ years online marketing experience. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies and web analytics in particular, with strong client/presentation skills as well. The position requires excellent communication skills, ability to discuss business objectives and define reports and provide recommendations, and will require a command of web analytics configuration skills, business requirement assessment, "key performance indicator" awareness, and an ability to perform knowledge transfer to our clients. This position is for a West Coast candidate, located in Downtown Vancouver. This position will be based in downtown Vancouver, BC. ~ RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist Search Engine Marketing department in tracking ROI of online marketing campaigns • Extensive knowledge of Omniture SiteCatalyst & Goolge Analytics • Integrate reports from SiteCatalyst into an internal reporting system, banner advertising, PPC and SEO • Working with executive and business to define the format, content and frequency of reports • Ensure that marketing, design and business divisions are regularly provided with performance reports and tools • Weekly, monthly reports (excel, BI tools, click stream analytics) • Lead development of senior management dashboards. • Website behavior and customer experience analysis. • Data consolidation and validation. • Coordinating tags, tracking parameter implementations. • Lead creation and completion of Multivariate and A/B testing documents (from hypothesis creation to influencing creative to identifying success metrics) and post test analysis. • Develop campaign ROI reports • Develop business trend, website performance and conversion reports • Consult regarding integration of multiple reporting systems into a single report output format • Assist in defining the format of affiliate performance reports • Make actionable recommendations from analytics reports • Work to define the business intelligence team goals and structure ~ QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree • At least 3-4 years of working with standard click stream analysis tools: Omniture, ClickTracks, WebTrends, etc. • 2 years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research. • 3-5 years of experience in one or more roles in an online ecommerce or online support environments. • Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Strong organizational and time management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proven web analytics success • Experience with implementation, setup and maintenance of Omniture SiteCatalyst • Experience with ClickTracks Professional Web Analytics software • HTML and JavaScript knowledge required • Strong understanding of the Internet Business and E-Commerce • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively; excellent planning and organizational skills • Excellent collaborative skills • Team player ~ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WOULD BE A PLUS: • Database, programming experience • Experience with Google AdWords, Microsoft AdCenter and Yahoo Sponsored Search. (PPC) • Experience in data mining • Search engine optimization (SEO) knowledge and experience a plus • Working knowledge of best practices in eCommerce, website usability, and site architecture SALARY: $50k-$95k - depending on experience, full health/dental benefits, bonuses, gym pass, paid vacations, beer Fridays, and free ice cream cake on your birthday!
