As the Manager, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), you’ll be a key contributor to the management of our SEO & SEM program for both the AllPosters.com and Art.com brands in multiple languages and geographies. The primary focus of the role will be SEO, but the position also requires working knowledge of SEM.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in monitoring, analyzing and optimizing web sites, code and rankings. A strong technical background and analytical skills are key requirements as well as significant experience in practicing sustainable and responsible long-term optimization in a large environment.

The position also requires great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with talented engineering and marketing teams.

We are looking for a candidate who has a non-dogmatic approach to SEO and the ability to constantly adapt to an ever changing environment in a creative, yet scientific way, and who will strive to share, develop and grow their vision for search marketing in a highly challenging and satisfying environment.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis, preservation and optimization of web sites and code
• Monitoring and reporting on results
• Localization
• Implementation and execution of tests; impact evaluation
• Assessment of internal initiatives that affect web sites and backend
• Research opportunities and trends
• Coordination with IT, User experience and other related groups



REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S./B.A degree in business or technical field; Engineering or Computer Science preferred
• Significant hands-on SEO experience with direct responsibility
• Strong understanding of Search Engines and Search Technology
• Working knowledge SEM
• Strong technical skills, thorough understanding of HTML
• Understanding of PHP/ASP/JSP a plus. Understanding of JAVA/.NET a plus. Working knowledge of relational databases/SQL a plus. Developer experience preferred

• Excellent analytical skills and strong problem solving skills, attention to detail
• Understanding of localization and foreign language skills are a significant plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of key metrics for effective ROI analysis
• Advanced knowledge of testing / drawing statistically significant conclusions is a plus
• Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a team and across departments
