Full-time Internal Entrepreneur - San Diego, California

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Research, evaluate, prioritize and propose various strategic and business building initiatives for Provide Commerce. Develop comprehensive business propositions including financial modeling, strategic positioning, marketing plan, organizational implications and key success metrics.
•Ability to champion and develop support for ideas.
•Turn ideas into actual initiatives and potential businesses for Provide. Develop, launch and test the ideas. Bring the idea to life.
•Lead virtual teams, direct reports and cross-functional teams to create businesses. Provide vision and leadership, especially with non-direct reports.
•Develop quantitative models to assess the future potential and relative ROI of alternate strategic initiatives
•Lead the successful testing and refinement of approved initiatives in the market
•Transition test ideas to actual businesses for Provide. Determine best way to organize and run the new business. Potential opportunity to lead the new business or create another new idea.
Qualifications:

•5 plus years of demonstrated experience as an independent or internal entrepreneur, building and managing businesses and/or strategic initiatives from startup to $50 million in revenues, ideally in an e-commerce or direct to consumer sales environment.
•Proven Broad Management experience including hands-on project management leadership in marketing and operations, and a proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing demands for resources. Ability to manage both direct and indirect reports.
•Ability to work cross-functionally and inspire and lead disparate groups.
•Extensive quantitative and analytical experience
•Business plan development and presentation experience
•High-energy self-starter, with strong written and verbal communication skills
•Strong business acumen and ability to read and synthesize complex trends within the operating environment
•Proven ability to negotiate third party alliances, in order to establish and manage new business models
•Strong financial acumen. Ability to create and manage division budgets and understand the underlying dynamics of a sales plan and revenue forecasts. Can design and utilize key performance indicators in day to day management.
•Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, while able to build and manage an existing, growing infrastructure as general manager
•Entrepreneurial self starter, able to lead and take initiative to capitalize on key opportunities to grow the business while managing its existing activities
