Online Marketing Manager - Seattle, WA
at ExtraHop Networks in Washington
Do you want to solve problems instead of sitting through meetings? Do you work better as part of a small, focused team? Do you want to feel a sense of ownership in what you do and make a real impact? So do we. We are looking for individuals who love technology, appreciate elegant solutions to challenging problems, and want to learn new things.
Sense of humor required…Seriously.
ExtraHop Networks is more than just the products we engineer and sell. We’ve built our company from the ground up with the idea of creating great jobs for great people. As a fast-paced early-stage company, each day offers new opportunities to innovate in all areas of the company. We value quality and integrity in everything we do, from interacting with customers to developing the best technology in the industry.
We are known as innovators and have received many awards for our team and our products, including Best of Interop, Seattle Business Magazine’s Innovation of the Year, and Network Product Guide’s Reader’s Trust for Best Products and Services, among others.
If you are an online marketing professional with an extremely strong search engine marketing skill set and a creative and analytical approach, we would like to hear from you! The Online Marketing Manager’s primary focus is to manage and report on the entire lead lifecycle. Hands-on success with managing all facets of search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC), and end-to-end marketing performance dashboards is required. Experience working with Eloqua, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and WordPress (or related systems) is a strong plus. The end goal is to send more qualified traffic to our web properties, convert this traffic effectively while ensuring a positive user experience, and consistently and elegantly report on the results. We have some very aggressive goals for 2012 and we’re looking for a strong A Player to help us achieve and exceed our objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and improve the corporate website and associated web properties, working to enhance user experience while substantially increasing traffic and conversions through paid and organic channels
• Build, implement, and manage our search engine optimization (SEO) program—including content strategy and link building—and then report on metrics
• Monitor and report on competitor standings, implement best practices for effective positioning, track progress, and report on successes
• Seek out and develop new ways to drive traffic through innovative channels and approaches
• Build, implement, and manage our pay per click (PPC) program and then report on metrics
• Optimize campaigns through continuously implementing new ad copy, keywords, A/B and multivariate testing, and targeting
• Adjust campaigns continuously to meet KPIs (ROI, Revenue, and CPL)
• Manage landing pages, microsites, and campaigns; optimize; and ensure proper tracking and reporting
• Work collaboratively throughout the organization to further leverage social media channels and make recommendations for future growth
• Leverage Google Analytics to understand and improve web and campaign performance
• Create and maintain a comprehensive marketing performance dashboard to measure the effectiveness of all campaigns and channels, from web through win
• Support the development of lead-nurturing programs (in Eloqua and elsewhere)
• Provide tools and training regarding the lead process to the Sales team
Required Qualifications and Experience
• 5+ years in a digital marketing position
• Enthusiasm for exciting new technologies and the creativity to translate this enthusiasm into compelling marketing programs
• Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to quickly understand complex theories and enterprise technologies
• Experience with a content management system (CMS), especially WordPress, a substantial plus
• Experience with a marketing automation platform (MAP), especially Eloqua, a substantial plus
• Experience with a customer relationship management system (CRM), especially Salesforce, a substantial plus
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently, cross-functionally, and directly with the executive team at times
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a very fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
