Full-time Digital SEM Analyst - Smyrna, GA

The SEM/SEO Analyst is responsible for managing the developing and trafficking of online ads across several campaigns. This person must ensure timely and accurate completion of digital advertising campaign deliverables. This plays a central role in campaign execution, meeting tight deadlines and troubleshooting. This role requires and analytical “thinker” with great communications skills and a strong desire for providing exceptional service for clients and publishers. This individual would also act as SEO content strategist, link developer and develops/interprets reports to identify qualitative and quantitative trends for ongoing SEO efforts. This person acts as the liaison between the internal customer and internal teams to drive SEO strategy.
The desired candidate would be: aggressive, detail oriented, highly organized, self-motivator and technical personality who can get the job done!

Responsibilities:

Create, execute and manage online traffic campaigns to deliver quality leads for our clients.
On-page SEO audit with recommended strategy to improve overall organic position and traffic for one or more dedicated categories.
Work on increasing conversion rates
Develop high-quality deliverables focused on client needs
Hands-on optimization strategy for category pages including: SEO copywriting, keyword strategy development, identifying internal & external link opportunities, site structure recommendations, content changes, etc.
Continuously strive to meet client expectations and campaign goals, as well as work to establish long-lasting relationships with online publishers and clients.
360-degree management of SEO campaigns including: working with merchandise & marketing teams to plan and oversee implementation of SEO related initiatives, and monitor competition and overall market trends related to SEO.
Responsible for the execution of digital advertising media plans (i.e. negotiate and finalize insertion orders, traffic ads, report and optimizes campaigns)
Maintain campaigns with third part ad server and media planning tool providers.
Research emerging trends in online advertising, new methods of targeting and tracking, ect.
Help the company gain industry recognition through speaking at industry events, writing for publications ect.

Qualifications:

This is an entry-level position and requires less than 1 year of experience in the online advertising industry. Preferably in SEO, SEM, paid advertising, traffic ads, media buying or media planning. Strong quantitative and analytical skill.
Understanding of web server, analytics, and search engines technologies.
Understanding of technical website development elements (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) and their implication to SEO efforts.
Ability to prioritize work to meet client deadlines by working well with other team member.
Good understanding of HTML, website development and web servers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and manage all levels of projects from simple to complex.
Excellent time-management skills
Familiarity with a major web analytics vendor such as Omniture, Coremetrics or Webtrends to drive marketing decision-making is a Plus!
Basic knowledge of Java Scrip and CSS is a Plus!
